I created this infographic as an overview of instructional design and the role of an instructional designer.

I used MindMeister as a visual tool to organize my information in a hierarchical and interconnected structure. Because instructional design processes are multifaceted; mind mapping is an effective tool for breaking down large amounts of information into smaller, more manageable chunks. Related subtopics branch off from the central idea. This method helps me organize and visualize relevant information and key concepts, which I then put into my own words and processes.

Once I finished the mind map, I decided to use Genially's interactive infographic maker. Popup windows, animations, and video were all the interactive elements I needed to create an engaging, informative, and user-friendly infographic.
